California State Board Tutoring

Sheryl has been teaching cosmetology and aesthetics for over 15 years, with another 10 years working in a number of San Jose salons as well as owning and operating her own business.

While with the San Jose Community College Cosmetology Program, she created and delivered a numerous theory presentations for both the Senior classes and Teacher-Trainee programs, while also teaching the Freshman practical course. She was also instrumental in establishing a pilot Aesthetics Program at Gavilan College in Gillroy, CA.

Sheryl has also been an in-demand instructor at a number of private Beauty Colleges in the Bay Area. In 2008, her local students took top honors at the Nino Faggiano Student Team Competition in Santa Cruz, CA., placing First Place Over-All, as well as First Place in Hair Design.

Sheryl currently provides self-paced Aesthetics, Cosmetology and Nail Technician training resources and personal tutelage in preparation for the California State Board Exam through her companion web site California Beauty Training.
